It is grounded in the science of neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to rewire itself—and the physiology of connection, illustrating the expansiveness of our mind and the interchange it has with our hearts. The art will depict how we can cleanse false ideas and ideals by deciding to keep our hearts open. This is a choice, and at times a hard decision, as othering alters the chemistry of the brain, triggering threat and fear. But the image will show that we can always refresh our souls and embrace new ways of being, reflecting the brain's innate capacity for renewal and compassion. The visuals for this page will be both symbolical and metaphorical—depicting a waterfall or the ocean, using the cleansing power of the element water to show its spiritual and physical washing away.
