Page description and purpose: I’d like for this page to be a puzzle, or composed of tiles or a mosaic, to show different pieces forming a whole image across a double-page spread. The imagery of this page represents the message of togetherness and coexistence—all of us as the miniature pieces of a whole that, when put together, reveal the larger image. Side by side. The ultimate act of embracing each other is to stand by someone's side, showing that you support whoever they wish to be as they live exactly as they are in their own truth.
